Notice of a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order.

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) has been made for Glenville Avenue, Glen Parva, to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake mains repair works.

The works commence on 11 May 2021 and is not anticipated to exceed a period of three days. The TTRO will incorporate a temporary road closure of Glenville Avenue on Thursday 13th May.

We would like to congratulate Jan Martin on being elected Chairman of Glen Parva Parish Council for the 16th consecutive year and also Stan Sidorowicz on being elected Vice Chairman for the 13th consecutive year.

Wednesday and Thursday 14:00-16:30

Saturday 09:00-13:00

If you drive your children to Glen Hills Primary School, please make use of our car park under the park and stride initiative.

Traffic gets quite heavy around the school so we urge you to walk if you can or park at the memorial hall on Dorothy Avenue, walking the rest of the way to ensure the safety of everyone.

Due to the impact of coronavirus, over 5.5 million people are now claiming universal Credit, many of whom are new to claiming, having been negatively impacted by the pandemic.

The government hope that Universal Credit will help make benefits easier for those claiming them. It comes as one payment with other benefits rolled into the one payment.

Glen Hills Together have launched a competition for a logo to be designed for the library.

The winning design will be printed onto mugs and bookmarks and a prize of book tokens will be given for the person whose logo is chosen.
