Our annual Remembrance Sunday service is taking place on Sunday 10th November at 2.30pm in the Galsworthy Suite of the War Memorial Hall.
Refreshments will be served after the service in the Bellamy Room.

Glen Parva Parish Council will be holding a surgery at South Wigston High School, St Thomas Road on Monday 21st October at 6.30pm.
The surgery, held in the dance studio mobile will give local residents the opportunity to engage with Parish Councillors on an informal basis.
It is anticipated that there will be at least two members of the Parish Council available at this surgery.

Unfortunately, once our last box of stock has been used up, we will be unable to supply free dog bags from the Parish Office and Glen Hills Library. This is due to cuts in the budget at Blaby District Council.
We thank you for continuing to pick up after your dog and urge you to report someone who is witnessed failing to do so. This can be done by contacting Blaby District Council.

Please bear in mind when using the car park here at the War Memorial Hall that our disabled parking bays are for blue badge holders ONLY.
There is plenty of space for parking for those wanting to take their children or dogs on the playing fields or play area so please be courteous and leave the disabled spaces for those who need it.

We have been made aware that there is an issue of dog fouling in certain areas of Glen Parva.
It is totally unacceptable to fail to pick up after your dog when there are approximately fifteen dog waste bins around the Parish, free dog bags from the office and library and stencilled pavements warning that you could face a fine if you do not clean up after your dog.
