Glen Hills Together have launched a competition for a logo to be designed for the library.
The winning design will be printed onto mugs and bookmarks and a prize of book tokens will be given for the person whose logo is chosen.
The competition is open for children up to the age of twelve and further details can be found on the library section of our website.

Glen Hills Together are excited to announce the latest community project for the new year.
Residents are being asked to take part by sending in photos of 'Winter in Glen Parva' taken during essential exercise and written contributions on the theme of 'Glen Parva Memories'. The written pieces can be fiction or non fiction, recent or distant, relating to interesting facts about the area.

Glen Hills Library are continuing to operate the click and collect service on Monday's 10-12pm and Thursday's 2-4pm.
Books can be requested via email to firstname.lastname@example.org or you can phone your order through (you can leave a message with your name and number) to 0116 2787720 and a volunteer will get back to you.

Thursday 24th September sees the launch of the NHS COVID-19 app, a vital part of the NHS Test and Trace service in England.
The app has a number of tools to protect you including contact tracing, local area alerts and venue check-ins.
It will be available to download to your smart device from midnight on 24th September.
